A real rarity from this label from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, owned by Gene Lawson. Recorded a year after the Delegates of Soul version, the Charles Mintz release has certainly remain much rarer and more elusive than the DOS version and that commands a kings ransom to this day.
Charles version certainly has a slight funkier edge to it and for me the flip "Lucky Guy" is a much better version.
A 45 that not many collectors or DJ's for that matter can boast they own so here's a rare chance to own this very in-demand and sought after Philly 45.
